What is a DAF?
A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a centralized charitable account. It allows charitably-inclined individual, families and businesses to make tax-deductible charitable donations of cash, publicly-traded stock and in some case, certain illiquid assets, to a public charity that sponsors a DAF program.
Family Promise Winchester Area is funded by you — the local community. Because of your generosity, families in our area have a safe place to turn during moments of housing instability. to families with children in Winchester, and the counties of Clarke, Frederick, and Warren, who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of losing their homes.
